| There can be fewer places better to experience from the comfort and convenience of a holiday cottage than the Scottish Borders. There are endless beautiful landscapes in which to indulge in a full range of outdoor activities or simply to relax in and admire, and a holiday cottage offers all the freedoms to do just as you please. Not all cottages are the same however, and the Mill @Lewinshope in the Yarrow Valley, near Selkirk is no ordinary holiday cottage.

A beautiful conversion from an old threshing mill, the eco-friendly open-plan cottage has been fitted out with stunning interiors and state of the art technologies to provide luxury cottage accommodation for up to 10 persons. There are four double bedrooms furnished in oak, ash, elm and beech woods, each with en suite facilities and a further mezzanine floor with a sofa bed. Bathrooms are equipped with luxury features such as wet room sauna, steam shower and high volume shower or roll top bath.

The incredible fully fitted kitchen contains all amenities and for entertainment there are two HD televisions and Blu-Ray DVD players. Both wired and wireless internet connectivity is available throughout and catering and maid service can be provided if required. Alternatively a fridge freezer can be fully stocked upon arrival with items of your choice. Further features include wheelchair access and minicom technology for the hearing impaired.

There is plenty to do in the surrounding area and guests have full use of an all weather tennis court and charcoal barbecue.

There is also safe storage and wash-down area for bicycles. Weekly tariff starts from £755 based on 8 persons sharing.

An additional £50 is applicable for further guests up to a maximum of 10 or 11 with an infant. Up to two dogs are welcome to stay in the boot room adjacent to the sitting room for a charge of £20 per dog.
