| Morebattle is a quiet conservation village nestled at the foot of the Cheviots between Kelso with its bustling French styled cobbled square and Jedburgh with its magnificent 12th Century red stone Abbey. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty and is home to some of Scotland's most magnificent castles and abbeys. A wide variety of activities are on offer locally including Fishing at the world famous junction pool at Kelso where the Rivers Tweed and Teviot meet, Golfing with no less than 21 courses in the area and The Championship Roxburghe Course only a few miles away at Kelso, Walking and Cycling to suit every ability and National Hunt racing at Kelso racecourse. There is so much to do here you won't want to waste a moment. |
| Mabel's house is a delightful two bedroom semi-detached bungalow with lovely views across the Kale Valley. The St Cuthbert's Way footpath passes minutes from the door and the property lies close to the end of the Pennine Way. With the local Inn a few minutes' walk from the house you can catch up on the local gossip whilst enjoying a lovely meal and a well-deserved drink after your day's activities. |
